The Learning Engagement Online project is an initiative of the Sunshine Coast Behaviour Support Services.
LEO uses a tool box of innovative ICT’s to invigorate learning and encourage positive relationships amongst peers, teachers and Mentors.
A combination of lesson structures including, online lessons, whole class activities and group laptop projects, require the LEO students to both participate and mentor others. With renewed confidence in learning and personal identity the LEO student develops a positive framework for school interaction.
Through a range of workshops and coaching models, the Learning Engagement Online team enhance pedagogy and build school capability through ICTs. In 2009 the LEO team are working cooperatively with schools to promote a Digital Capability model. |
